We had to wait a long time for a new game from BetSoft, but it has been finally released! And it was worth waiting for! There has been a murder at the Wellington Manor and it is up to you to discover the clues in “Who Spun It?”. Immerse yourself in a slot machine like never before as the clues and details of the case mold to your gameplay, creating a completely unique and interactive case every time you play through the story. Let’s see what all the fuss is about! “Who Spun It?” is an interactive 5-reel, 30-payline slot that will make you feel as if you were a detective trying to find out who murdered Mr. Farmington. You will have five suspects – let’s get to know them! First of all, there is short, feisty and flirty Miss Ellie – a local farm girl taken on a Wellington Manor as a housemaid over three years ago. Although she often gets into trouble for an impertinent tongue, she knows how to work hard – most of the time. She knows all the service passageways in the manor and makes heavy use of them, especially when she wants to canoodle with a handsome fellow. Secondly, there is eccentric and arrogant Dr. Van Austren, who has been Mr. Wellington’s personal physician for many long years. He was educated at the finest medical schools and graduated an entire year before anyone else in his class. He enjoys playing poker, flying kites and golf. He is in a loveless marriage with an invalid wife which produced one equally arrogant son, who is smugly following in his father’s footsteps. Thirdly, there is Mr. Wellington, a wealthy sole heir of the Wellington Industries fortune, who prefers to stay close to his palatial manor due to an unknown, never spoken about health condition. He has never married preferring instead to collect rare and valuable art from galleries around the world. He enjoys spirited debate at his fancy dinner parties, which are legendary in his social strata. The fourth suspect is Miss Eliza Jane Rothsby Earlton Geoffries Chatham, who is recently widowed, but though she is supposed to be in mourning she is on the prowl for her fifth husband. Flirty, charming and pampered, she adores beautiful, expensive clothes and jewelry, exotic holidays, fine things and wealthy men, not necessarily in that order. Finally, there is Charles Covington, who began work at the manor as footman when Old Mr. Wellington was still alive. Dry, humourless and lifelong bachelor, Covington attends to his duties as butler with a perfectionist’s touch. He is devoted to the Wellington family and defends them just as assiduously as he would his own, if they still lived. So who killed Mr. Farmington? As for the visual presentation of the game, it is simply awesome! Beautiful 3D graphics, breathtaking animations and authentic sounds will make you feel as if you were watching an animated film! The symbols on the reels include five suspects, a safe, a wall with clues, a magnifying glass and victim’s legs. There will be also different symbols in different levels, but more on that later. A game like this couldn’t go without a variety of innovative special features, which are so gripping that you will be unable to stop playing! Play through multiple game levels to discover the Location, Weapon and the Killer clue photos. And the interaction doesn't stop there! Once all of the clues have been collected, unleash the Second Screen bonus game to call the killer out, interrogate them and lock them behind bars. Sounds great, doesn’t it? So let’s look closer at how it works! To have access to all special features and begin the investigation you will have to bet on all 30 lines. You have probably noticed the clock above the reels, haven’t you? “Who Spun It?” features a special timer based gameplay. From the moment you hit the Spin button, a timer will cound down to Detective Mode, a secondary set of reels. During timed gameplay, you will collect clue coins anywhere on the reels, for each coin collected, you will earn one spin in the special clue collecting mode. At the end of each timed segment of gameplay, you will be taken to the Clue Collection reels, a unique set of reels with special symbols only found in this mode. The Clue Collection reels consist of 3 gameplay levels. In each level a unique set of symbols will be presented. The 3 levels are the Murder Location with symbols showing such locations as gazebo, dining room, study, kitchen and bathroom, the Murder Weapon which could be poison, knife, noose, gun or wrench, and the Culprit Clue where you will see symbols of cigarette, duster, stethoscope, watch and spilled tea. Each winning combination of 3 or more symbols during Clue Collection Reels will earn you a credit win and points towards figuring out the location, weapon, or killer. The more symbols in the winning combination, the more points towards solving the level. Collect 5 clue points of any symbol to solve the level. Once you have solved all 3 levels of Clue Collection, all you need to do is to wait for the right moment to accuse the killer! And the perfect moment to do so is the second screen Bonus Round, which only becomes available to hit once all 3 levels of the Clue collection have been completed. To trigger this Bonus Round, you must get the evidence symbol on the center position of the center reel. This area on the reels will be outlined with a special golden rim. Once in the Bonus feature, you will select the accused murderer and interrogate them for Bonus credits. Choose your suspect and ask them the hard-hitting questions! Break them down until they confess! What is more, if 2 or more evidence symbols appear anywhere on the reels, a Scatter payout will also be awarded. But wait, there is more! When all 5 characters appear on the reels at the same time during timed gameplay, one character per reel, Free Spins mode will be triggered. During the Free Spins mode you will be allowed to chose any of the 5 suspects, each offering a unique functionality and cinematic entrance onto the game reels. Miss Ellie offers double (20) Free Spins, Dr. Van Austren gives you 10 Free Spins with random Wild symbols, Mr. Wellington triggers 10 Free Spins in which game pays both ways, Miss Chatham awards 10 Free spins with a 4x multiplier on all payouts, and Convington offers 10 Free Spins with a random Wild reel. Finally, you will have a chance to double your wins by guessing if the coin tossed by Mr. Wellington lands on heads or tails. Watching the animation of Mr. Wellington being happy or disappointed by the result is worth risking some of tour wins! There are many games that look great, but after a few minutes of play become painfully boring! But “Who Spun It?” is different! This game not only looks incredibly good (it is probably the most beautiful game on the market), but it also offers amazing special features, which can’t be found in any other game! Finding clues in different levels of the Detective Mode and waiting for the ability to trigger the Bonus Round and find the murderer will make you occupied for long hours! This marvellous game is the most gripping slot we have ever seen and definitely the best title released this year! Well done, BetSoft, well done!
