Hopefully, if you don’t want to play a hundred version of standard poker game, there’s also “Caribbean Poker” released by BetSoft. Ready for something different?
“Caribbean Poker” from BetSoft takes you to the tropical islands where people tend to play a specific poker fusion. It’s not difficult at all, quite the contrary, it’s very easy and doesn’t require loads of energy.
“Caribbean Poker” is a quite simple game in which you don’t even need to change your cards or wait for more to be shuffled. At the beginning you’ll receive 5 cards shown face up, while the dealer is dealt 5 cards with four cards shown face down and one card visible for you. The dealer must qualify with an Ace and King or a pair or better. You must decide whether your hand is strong enough to win, and if so, you choose to raise your bet which means the necessity to double the ante. If the dealer does not qualify, you win automatically! The main objective of this poker variation is to obtain a higher-ranked poker hand than the dealer.
Unfortunately, unlike other Caribbean pokers there are no bonus payouts and no optional side bet. So this game would have been better named as five card stud. However, you’ll be able to read the game rules, payouts and poker tips anytime you’ll feel not knowledgeable enough. Irritated by the sounds? Just turn them off and play your own relaxing music.
The places for your bets are decorated with palm tree leaves which give a nice first impression. Apart from that, the almost realistic design of standard poker table and the fast way of shuffling playing cards are definitely strong points of this game.
“Caribbean Poker” from BetSoft doesn’t implement completely new game but gives it a quite fresh look. With betting range from 1 to 100 you can play rather as low-roller but you won’t complain. No ideas for long nights? Give this game a go as you won’t regret it!
